What is Clock Tower?

Clock towers are a type of structure that houses a turret clock and has one or more clock faces on the upper exterior walls. Many clock towers are freestanding, but they may also be attached to or built on top of another structure. In brief, the lock towers were first used in towns in the 11th century to warn residents of emergencies, when it was time to pray, and other important events. In today’s society, the uses of the clock are mostly for ornamental purposes in today’s culture. The advancement in technology may have rendered them obsolete, but it has had little effect on their visual appeal, elegance, or style.
Planning & Design
In mid-March 2021, Our signature brand of MICROTIME with 3 faces clock tower was built; today this little charming clock tower caught the attention of the people in Sik Town. The planning work on the clock began in early Feb 2021, our client requested 3 faces clock tower. By working on the concept of the clock, we had given the dimension of the clock and the walls, which were built accordingly to fits the clock tower dimension. Other requirements are such as the power supply and a working platform (back of the clock) are required.
Once the building structures are in construction, our work began with proposing the concept requested with the super-imposed photography of the building structure and the backlights of the different colors of the clocks.

Rollout
The next step is the most important aspect of the work rollout planning. Meanwhile, making arrangement of sky-lift with 14 foot’s width platform that fits the entire clock tower, tools and manpower are crucial which carries out the rollout of installation work. Upon the arrival of the clocks, our team is ready and on standby. The entire process of fixing and mounting all three faces clock took about 6 hours to complete. The use of high-quality waterproofing material to seal all the edges of the clocks
The following day, the installation of the outdoor speaker and amplifier took place with all the wiring work. The Clock Controller System will then aligned and synchronized its to Standard Malaysian Time one by one. The clock tower backlight was adjusted and the time was set from 7.00 pm to 6.30 am the foolowing day. This also completed with the Westminster Chime melody. This test run continued until the next day ensuring the clock is running well.
This clock tower is finally another pride of the Sik Town in Kedah.
